The Nevada volleyball team fell in four sets to Portland on Friday in the first match of the Idaho tournament.

Nevada won the first set, 25-23 but was not able to keep the momentum going losing the following sets 25-18, 25-22, and 25-21.

Kyla Waiters led the Pack in kills with a score of 13 points, recording a .433 hitting percentage. Reka Monteleone continue where she left off last season by leading the Pack in service aces with a score of 4 points and tied in second with Sydney Petersen on 11 kills at the match.

As a team, the Pack hit .182, while the Pilots had a .303.

Nevada will return to the court at 7 p.m. to play against Grand Canyon. Live stats are available through the Idaho Vandals website.
