Nevada's Emily Rich was one of 11 players named to the Mountain West all-newcomer team Tuesday.

The Wolf Pack freshman from Coarsegold, Calif., led the team in goals (four), assists (four) and points (12). She played 17 of 18 games and netted two game-winning goals among her 16 shots.

The first game-winner came against Air Force, when she scored a pair of goals. She also had the game-winner against San Jose State, notching the go-ahead goal with four minutes remaining in a 2-1 victory. Rich had a game-tying goal in a 1-1 draw with New Mexico and a key pass on Hannah Souza's game-winner against UNLV in the regular-season finale. Rich finished tied for seventh in the MW in assists and game-winning goals.

Rich, who also won MW offensive player of the week during the season, was part of a strong freshman class for Nevada, which went 5-11-2 overall and 4-5-2 in the Mountain West, an improvement from its 1-7-2 MW mark in the spring season. New Mexico's Zaria Katesigwa, who scored eight goals during her freshman season, was named the MW newcomer of the year.

Rich was named NSN's Wolf Pack athlete of the month for October. You can watch her full interview here.
