Nevada makes 2021-22 debut at Gene Miranda Invitational

Nevada men's golf opens its 2021-22 campaign this weekend, traveling to Colorado Springs for the Gene Miranda Invitational from Sept. 10-12 at the Eisenhower Golf Club.

The Pack has competed in this event four times in its history, but this weekend will mark the first time since 2015.

Nevada will send seven golfers to the event, with the quintet of Quim Vidal Mora, A.J. Lintunen, Adam Thorp, Peyton Callens, and Trey Davis making up the team entry, and Mitch Abbott and Connor Motherway competing as individuals.

The team competition will be played on the 7,541-yard, par-72 Blue Course. Friday and Saturday, golfers will play 18 holes each day with tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m. PT (8:30 a.m. local), and on Sunday, tee times will begin at 6:15 a.m. PT (7:15 a.m. local). All individuals will play on the Silver course with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. PT (9:30 a.m. local) Friday and Saturday, and 7:30 a.m. PT (8:30 a.m. local) Sunday.
