On the last day of competition, the NCAA West Regionals saw sophomore Rayven Nealey compete in the triple jump.
Nealey finished the triple jump with a distance of 12.05 meters. The sophomore earned this distance in her first attempt, which put her at 42nd overall. Nealey’s personal best was 12.69m
Nealey’s outdoor season ends with her being third all-time at Nevada in the triple jump. Nealey earned her mark at the Rice Invitational and put her just past Brittany Graves’ 2018 mark of 12.59m.
There’s now only one more event left in the track outdoor season, which will be held at Eugene, Oregon. Senior Nicola Ader will compete in the heptathlon at the NCAA Finals that will take place from June 9-12.
