With the Mountain West Outdoor Championships just around the corner, the Wolf Pack competed in the West Coast Relays where sophomore Emily Costello earned two personal bests.
Costello’s first personal best was in the 200 meter dash. Her time of 23.83 improved her second all-time mark at Nevada by .10 seconds. This time was also good enough to earn her a fifth place finish at the meet.
The sophomore would go on to improve another Nevada all-time mark in Fresno. Costello’s time of 11.68 was good enough to improve her sixth all-time Nevada mark in the 100m dash. She was just behind Kashae Knox’s fifth all-time mark of 11.67. Costello’s mark was good enough for a third place finish in the meet.
