The University of Nevada athletics department and Nevada Sports Net announced today a nine-game broadcast package that will bring Wolf Pack men’s and women’s basketball games to the airwaves in Northern Nevada during the 2019-20 season.

The package begins Saturday with the Wolf Pack women’s basketball game against Sacramento State and continues Tuesday with the men’s game against Texas-Arlington. In total, three men’s games and six women’s games will be broadcast this season.

“NSN is thrilled to be broadcasting not only these men’s basketball games but also to give exposure to the women’s basketball program," Nevada Sports Net general manager Amie Chapman said. "We’re excited about our partnership with the University of Nevada and the Mountain West Conference to be able to showcase local sports on Nevada Sports Net. We look forward to more opportunities like this in the future.”

The lineup for Wolf Pack men’s basketball includes the Dec. 4 matchup against Santa Clara and the Dec. 18 game against Texas Southern in addition to Tuesday’s matchup against the Mavericks of Texas-Arlington. The six-game women’s schedule on NSN includes the Wolf Pack’s final game in the annual Nugget Classic and four MW conference games.

For the men's basketball games, NSN will produce 30-minute pre- and post-game shows as well as a halftime show hosted by Bryan Samudio and featuring former Nevada basketball player Eathan O'Bryant as well as NSN reporter Chris Murray. Those shows will include features on Wolf Pack athletes. Alex Margulies will do play-by-play for both the men's and women's broadcasts while Wolf Pack alums Keith Fuetsch (men's games) and Ashlee Jones (women's games) will serve as color commentators.

“We’re excited to embark on this partnership with Nevada Sports Net and are thrilled for the network’s commitment to delivering a high-quality broadcast production of Wolf Pack men’s and women’s basketball to our Northern Nevada audience,” said Chad Hartley, associate athletics director for the Wolf Pack. “We’re hopeful we can continue this partnership in the spring during baseball and softball season, and beyond.”

In Northern Nevada, NSN is available over the air on channel 21; Charter channel 787 in HD or 7 in SD; DirecTV and Dish Network on channel 21; or on AT&T U-verse channel 1021 in HD or 21 in SD. The games can be seen from the following counties: Washoe, Carson, Humboldt, Churchill, Pershing, Douglas, Lyon, Mineral, Lassen Lander, and Eureka.
