Pack softball excited to open postseason play in Stockton

After a strong showing in the 2017 regular season, the Wolf Pack softball team will get a chance to play in the postseason for the first time since 2009. Nevada was invited to play in the 26-team NISC (National Invitational Softball Championship). They will open the tournament on Tuesday in a four-team regional hosted by the Pacific Tigers in Stockton.

Nevada will face UCSB at 4 p.m. in their first content, with Cal Poly and rounding out the four teams.

It is a double elimination format, with round two games slated for Wednesday.
