Nevada men's golf takes first at Pacific Invitational

The Nevada men's golf team took first place today at the Pacific Invitational. The team shot a program record 22 under par to beat No. 16 BYU by 12 strokes at the tournament.

Sophomore Joey Vrzich shot a program record of 61 and came in second place. Vrzich won the Badger Invite at the beginning of this season and won the Nick Watney Invitational. He also tied for second place at the Husky Invitational. Vrzich was named Mountain West Golfer of the Month in September and has been ranked in the top 20 by Golf Stat this season.
