Days following the NFL Draft, three Nevada football alums signed free agent contracts with the NFL.
Former Nevada linebacker and captain Malik Reed signed with the Denver Broncos. Reed racked up 203 total tackles, 38.5 for loss, 22 sacks and 11 forced fumbles in his college career. He also lead the Mountain West Conference his senior season with 4 forced fumbles. Reed was also ranked 9th nationally in that category. Reed was also an All-Mountain West selection three years in a row.
Former Bishop Manogue High School standout and Wolf Pack long snapper Wes Farnsworth was picked up by the Miami Dolphins.
As a captain his senior season, Farnsworth was named to the preseason All-Mountain West first team while also being ranked the fourth-best long snapper in the nation according to Phil Steele. Farnsworth was a 5 star recruit out of high school before starting all 4 years with the Pack.
Finally, former Nevada Defensive Back Jomon Dotson was picked up by the Chicago Bears.
Dotson was a transfer from Washington starting 11 games with the Wolf Pack his senior season. Dotson earned "Newcomer of the year" on the team finishing the season with 75 total tackles. He had the third most tackles on Nevada and ranked 8th among defensives backs in the Mountain West Conference.
Dotson closed out his career at Nevada with 7 tackles and an interception in the 2018 Arizona Bowl win.
