There will be a new quarterback under center come August for the Nevada football team. One potential front runner - Cristian Solano, who started one game for Nevada last season because of an injury to Ty Gangi.
In high school, Solano threw for 4,162 yards while rushing for 1,427 en route to a total of 66 touchdowns. The senior also completed 71 percent of his passes while breaking every quarterback record at his high school.
In Solano's lone start at Nevada he completed 22-43 passes for 195 yards throwing 3 interceptions.
