It was a streak that lasted 104 days and 16 total matches. Reno 1868 FC from mid-April to the end of July went on an absolute tear in the United Soccer League remaining unbeaten and climbing from a team barely in the top 8, to 4th overall in the Western Conference and in a position to host a playoff game once again.
Following Saturday nights stunning 2-1 loss to Saint Louis FC in stoppage time, Reno was on pace to extend its unbeaten streak and record its second win with a man down. 1868 FC scored a total of 16 goals while only giving up 10 during that 3 month stretch.
Reno's unbeaten streak not only set a franchise record, but it was the longest unbeaten streak in the USL this season.
