Nevada beats UMass 110-87 to win Las Vegas Holiday Invitational

The Nevada Basketball team improves to 6-0 on the year after a 110-87 victory in Las Vegas. Three Wolf Pack players were named to the All-Tournament team, including Caleb Martin, who was named MVP after scoring a career high 29 points,. Joining Martin were seniors Tre'Shawn Thurman, who also posted a career best night with 22 points and 8 rebounds, along with Jordan Caroline, who had 16 points and 10 rebounds, his second double-double of the tournament.

Nevada shot 61.5% from the field and had five players finish in double figures.

Up next the No. 6 ranked Wolf Pack heads to the Midwest for a showdown with Loyola-Chicago, who knocked out Nevada in the Sweet Sixteen round of the NCAA Tournament last March. Tip off is set for 5 p.m. Northern Nevada time.
