After 21 years, Montreux Golf and Country Club is cutting ties with the Barracuda Championship.

This comes after the Board at Montreux made the decision to not renew their membership. Tournament Director Chris Hoff says, "we are thankful to the Montreux membership and homeowners for their support and hospitality since 1999. While certainly disappointed, we will start to explore alternative venues in the market and look forward to continuing the Barracuda Championship."

The Barracuda was going to be played on an earlier date at Montreux next season due to the 2020 Olympics in Japan.

22-year-old Colin Morikawa won his first ever PGA tour event at the Barracuda Championship this past season.
