Bishop Manogue, Spanish Springs boys basketball teams knocked out of state tournament

Both Spanish Springs and Bishop Manogue boys basketball teams didn't make it as far as they wanted in the state tournament in Las Vegas.

The Cougars fell to the Arbor View Aggies 72-56 at the Orleans Arena on Wednesday afternoon.

Spanish Springs finished the regular season 23-6 overall and almost perfect in league with a 7-1 record.

The Bishop Manogue Miners, who finished a perfect 10-0 in league play, fell to the Clark Chargers on Thursday afternoon in Southern Nevada.

Moe Golshani and his squad also won the Northern 4A Regional Title after defeating Kyle Penney and the Cougars.
