Former Nevada quarterback Ty Gangi was invited to rookie minicamp with the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per multiple reports.

No Wolf Pack players were selected in the NFL draft for the fourth time in five seasons, but Malik Reed, Wes Farnsworth and Jomon Dotson each signed undrafted free-agent deals over the weekend.

The next tier of options for undrafted players is getting into rookie minicamps in hopes of earning an invitation to the full training camp. That's the position Gangi will be in.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Southern California native appeared in 32 games for the Wolf Pack over the last three seasons. He completed 595-of-989 passes for 7,378 yards, 56 touchdowns and 30 interceptions. He also rushed for 543 yards and 10 scores in his college career, which also included stops at Colorado and Ventura College before he signed with Nevada.

The Bucs didn't draft a quarterback in its 2019 class, although it has three quarterbacks on its roster in Jameis Winston, Blaine Gabbert and Ryan Griffin, each of whom have spent five-plus years in the NFL. Tampa Bay also signed former Mississippi State quarterback Nick Fitzgerald as an undrafted free agent.
