The Raiders' first season playing in Las Vegas in Allegiant Stadium will be done without fans due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The franchise sent an email to season-ticket holders Monday saying, "We have made the difficult decision to play the Las Vegas Raiders 2020 inaugural season at Allegiant Stadium without fans in attendance. The decision is based on our commitment to protect the health of our fans and the entire community in the response to the coronavirus pandemic affect us all."
Multiple Raiders season-ticket holders have tweeted about their email, although the franchise has not confirmed the move yet. The Raiders would be the first NFL team to decide to play without fans this season.
