NSN Daily's premiere show coming Friday


NSN Daily is almost here.

Nevada Sports Net’s new daily television show will debut Friday and move into full rotation at the start of next month. After single shows this Friday and next Friday, NSN Daily will be broadcast Monday-Friday beginning Oct. 1.

The show will air on Nevada Sports Net, formerly KAME-TV, at 4 p.m. every day. Encore showings are scheduled for 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. on most days. The show also will stream on daily at 4 p.m. It will air on 94.5 FM at 1 p.m.

The first NSN Daily will feature Reno 1868 FC head coach Ian Russell, who will discuss his team’s Silver State Cup showdown with Las Vegas Lights FC at Greater Nevada Field on Saturday; reports from Alex Margulies and Julian Del Gaudio covering Nevada football’s game at Toledo; recent Wolf Pack Hall of Fame broadcasting inductee Dan Gustin; and writer Chris Murray.

The debut show will air at 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Nevada Sports Net.

The Sept. 28 edition has scheduled guests Eric Edelstein, the president of the Reno Aces and Reno 1868 FC, and Steven Lerud, a Galena High School grad and former MLB catcher who recently managed the class A short-season Eugene Emeralds to a championship.

NSN Daily is a fast-paced, ESPN-style opinion and talk show about Northern Nevada sports. It will be joined on the channel by other local coverage, including:

* Wolf Pack All Access: In-depth coverage and exclusive interviews with the Wolf Pack coaches and athletes that will offer highlights, features and behind-the-scenes content.

* Top of the hour updates: Hourly breakdowns of the day’s news in local and national sports, opinion and more from the NSN team.

* OTO specials: “Inside Nevada Football” and “Inside Nevada Basketball” seasonal specials following the Wolf Pack players as they prepare for the upcoming season.

* Countdown to kick-off: The NSN sports team and Gustin, from Gustin Sports, break down the upcoming high school football season, including coach and player interviews.

* Exploring our backyard: Samudio, Margulies and Del Gaudio take viewers on spectacular adventures in the Northern Nevada area

* The 19th hold at the ACC: A wrap-up show of the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship at Edgewood up in Tahoe. Celebrity interviews and golf highlights of the week.
