The Nevada football team is holding a tryout meeting for UNR students Thursday at noon.

Participants must be full-time students at the university, be an NCAA qualifier within the five-year eligibility clock and have up-to-date immunization record with the school.

The Wolf Pack has picked a couple of gems from its student tryouts in recent years, including kicker Ramiz Ahmed ahead of the 2017 season. Ahmed was Nevada's kickoff specialist in 2017 before earning the field-goal duties job in 2018 when he made 15-of-20 field goals and 40-of-45 extra points.

Students who plan on attending the tryout are asked to RSVP to Nevada's player of personnel, Lucas Gauthier, at lgauthier@unr.edu.
