The bracketologists were right.

The NCAA Tournament selection committee released its top 16 seeds for the first time Saturday morning and the Wolf Pack was slotted as a No. 4 seed in the South Region.

In the NCAA bracket reveal announced on CBS, No. 6-ranked Nevada was projected as a four seed in the South behind No. 1 Tennessee, No. 2 North Carolina and No. 3 Purdue. The South Region will be played in Louisville, Ky.

Despite Nevada's gaudy 22-1 record, the consensus among bracketologists was that the Wolf Pack would be a fourth seed given its lack of quality wins. Nevada was ranked 14th in the overall bracket.
